During the school holidays in Brooklyn, a young boy with brown hair climbs an indoor rock wall, eyes closed and mouth open in excitement or concentration, gripping a yellow climbing hold with one hand. A young boy with brown hair and a gray Mickey Mouse shirt smiles with his eyes closed while gripping large, yellow climbing holds on an indoor climbing wall in Brooklyn during the school holidays.
School Holiday Programs

No School. No Problem.

We gear adventure days and weeks for youth ages 5-12. Whether your child is brand new to bouldering or has been coming here for years, we make sure they get the most out of their day with climbing, social time and off the wall games.

The day begins at 9:00am and ends at 3:30pm.

Several children sit and chat on a mat at DC Adventure Days indoor climbing gym, with colorful climbing walls and more kids in the background. One child in the foreground wears a name tag that reads ISAAC.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Adventure Days & Weeks run from 9:00am – 3:30pm. Kids must be between the ages of 5-14.

Highlights include open arts & craft time, slack-lining or rope swinging, as much climbing as your rock-star can handle, and empowering skills that last a lifetime!

Participants will be broken up by age range. We provide climbing shoes and required program materials.

A group of children are gathered on a padded floor during Adventure Days, smiling and laughing. One child in a green shirt and hat lies playfully on his back with his legs in the air, while others watch and enjoy the moment.

UPCOMING ADVENTURE DAYS

Registration is now open for Fall 2025 Adventure Days!

I think the camp is run very efficiently, safely, and professionally. .... Not to mention fun for the kids!

  2. Inside voices
  3. Listen to your instructor
  4. Stay with the group
  5. Keep your hands to yourself
  6. Take your shoes off when you go to the bathroom
  7. Stay on the edge of the mat when you’re not climbing
