Located in the Eckington neighborhood near Union Market, DC Bouldering Project is the first climbing gym in The District. Our bouldering only gym boasts remarkable features, namely our 55-foot long overhang wall nicknamed The Beast, along with 34,714 square feet of climbing and fitness space.

We offer a variety of programming and amenities for all experience levels:

  • Beginner to advanced grade bouldering routes
  • Climbing, fitness, yoga, and youth classes
  • A coworking space, saunas, social events, and more

Located at 1611 Eckington Pl NE, our 34,000+ sq ft facility features world-class bouldering (including “The Beast” 55-foot overhang wall), dedicated yoga and fitness studios, saunas, and co-working lounges.

No. Eckington welcomes everyone from first-time climbers to expert boulderers. Day Passes are available on-site and include rental climbing shoes for first-time visitors, along with a brief facility orientation.

Yes. Day passes, punch passes, and memberships include complete access to our scheduled yoga classes, functional strength zones, saunas, and co-working workspace.

 Yes. Memberships grant full reciprocal access to our upcoming Columbia Heights location, as well as every Bouldering Project gym across the country.

Located in NE Washington near Union Market at 1611 Eckington Pl NE. We are accessible via the Metropolitan Branch Trail (bike/pedestrian) and a short walk from NoMa-Gallaudet U Metro station (Red Line).
