Austin Bouldering Project hosts regular community events across both Springdale and Westgate locations, including community competitions, Climb for Community fundraising nights, local affinity group meetups, trivia nights, chess nights, lights-out climb nights, yoga challenges, vendor markets, and more!
No. Most community events, including social climbs, trivia nights, and competitions at Springdale and Westgate, are open to non-members and day-pass visitors. Members may receive discounts or early RSVP access to select events.
Climb for Community is a bi-monthly initiative where ABP donates $10 of every day pass sold to local non-profit partners. Springdale hosts Climb for Community on the first Friday of every month, and Westgate hosts it on the third Friday of every month.

Yes. ABP hosts youth climbing camps, after-school programs, and community competitions suitable for all ages across both Austin facilities.
Austin Boulderfest takes place annually at ABP Springdale, featuring an all-day community climbing competition, vendor marketplace, food trucks, games, and an Open Finals spectating party. Event dates, category sign-ups, and spectator pass details are published on the Austin event calendar each summer.
