Yoga Classes Brooklyn

Bend Don't Break

We’ll meet you along the path.

For some Bouldering Project members, yoga is the main event, while others find that their yoga practice helps maintain longevity, resilience, and flexibility in their climbing journey. Either way, we remember that yoga is a pathway of ancient physical, mental, and spiritual practices that is more important now than ever. Savor every breath.

Each class can be adapted for desired level of intensity.

For ages 14+. Youth ages 14-17 must be accompanied by an adult supervisor in class.

High Intensity

HOT POWER FLOW

In this powerful, dynamic, and energetic yoga class, you’ll fluidly move from one pose to the next, while connecting your breath to your movements, all while working up a sweat. Not only is this a challenging class physically, but your focus and stamina will be challenged as well. (Room heated at ~90F).

POWER FLOW

Power Flow is a high-intensity vinyasa-based yoga practice for practitioners looking to challenge both body and mind. Power Flow moves at a faster pace, and offers advanced poses and transitions. All are welcome, however, Align and Flow are recommended prior to your first Power Flow.

Duration: 1 hour

Low Intensity
A woman sits cross-legged on a yoga mat at Brooklyn Climbing Yoga and Fitness, smiling with her eyes closed and hands raised. Another person is visible in the blurred background, both in a peaceful indoor setting.

RESTORATIVE

This slower-paced yoga class is designed to help release stress and tension stored in the physical and energetic body. In this class you will learn to use props to help you relax, be somewhat still and experiment with breathwork and meditation.

Duration: 1 hour

Medium-High Intensity

Yoga for Climbers

It’s yoga, but for climbers this time. Led by instructors who are both avid yogis and climbers, this class will meld climbing concepts into yoga, so that both pursuits are served.
