CLIMBING IS A LIFELONG PATH.

Never Static – that’s how we grow.  We offer climbing classes in the Twin Cities for all ages and experience levels, from youth programs for the next generation of rock climbers, to classes aimed at climbers ready to make the next leap forward on their path. Check out our classes below.

INTRO TO BOULDERING PROJECT

First time? We’ve got you! This 1-hour class is the starting point for first-time climbers to get confident navigating our space and climbing on the walls.

Best for: First-time climbers

BOULDERING 1

Learn the fundamentals of bouldering technique in this 2-hour class. For Beginner level (yellow, red, and green) climbers to unlock new movement techniques and skills.

Best for: Beginner level climbers

BOULDERING 2

This class is for intermediate climbers who are working on the Purple, Orange, Black circuits. The class is run over the course of four weeks covering a few technical concepts each session with an emphasis on developing a growth mindset. The ability to go into more depth with each concept will help participants break through their plateaus.

Best for: Climbers moving into the Purple, Orange, Black circuits

(Recommended prerequisite: Bouldering 1)

CIRCUIT SESSIONS

A weekly social climbing session for people who want to build skills while making new friends! This sesh is a space for our community to come together around the joyful obsession of climbing.

Best for: All-levels climbers

ADULT TEAM

Adult team is a place for motivated and committed individuals to learn new skills that will help accomplish their goals while building a culture of inspiration and accountability. Our coaches introduce athletes to mental training, skill development and physical training concepts in a fun and playful atmosphere.

Best for: Highly motivated, all-levels climbers

PERSONAL COACHING

Personalized climbing coaching designed to help you break through plateaus, reach your goals, and level up your climbing—one session at a time.

Best for: Intermediate to advanced level climbers

YOUTH CLIMBING CLASSES

Watching a child apply natural ability and curiosity to our walls is to witness the power of our sport. Yes, it’s meant to be fun, but under the guidance of our Youth Programs, climbing becomes a vehicle for developing resilience, confidence, and problem solving. Maybe most importantly, this is a place to build community and real life experiences.

Best for:Youth ages 4-18

FAQs

Yes! You can purchase a day pass ($24), which gives you all day access to the gym, including our Intro to Bouldering Project class, Bouldering 1 class, and Circuit Sessions.

Punch cards are also available for flexible access!

Absolutely! Refining your skills & fundamentals are keys to progression.

Intentionally practice the skills and drills from Bouldering 1 for a few months. A great place to do this is in Circuit Sessions!

You can also repeat Bouldering 1 as many times as you want!

A circuit session is like a guided climbing session. Instructors will lead you through various ways to use our circuit system to train energy systems like power or endurance, and mental training practices like commitment and strategy.

Most importantly, it’s social and fun!

We recommend taking Bouldering 2 after you’ve taken Bouldering 1 and have been climbing for another couple of months.

When you find yourself pushing into the Purple circuit, or when you find yourself hitting a plateau in progression through the upper circuits, is another good indicator you may be ready for Bouldering 2.

Coaches range from $50-$100 an hour depending on their experience and content level. We can help find a coach & rate that’s right for you.
