OUR COACHES

A person with dark hair, wearing a striped sweater, brown pants, and sneakers, stands on a rocky cliff overlooking a desert landscape and hills near Tempe—an inspiring scene for personal coaching and self-reflection.

Jacob Gallardo

I have been climbing for about 5 years, and I have grown extremely fond of outdoor climbing as well as board climbing. I am happy to coach anyone of any skill level! I love coaching beginners just as much as I enjoy coaching those at an intermediate or even advanced level. I specialize in powerful, tension-focused, technical bouldering, most often what you might find in the great outdoors. If it’s overhung and hard, I love to nerd out on it!

Fun fact: I played ice hockey for about 13 years!

I’ve been climbing since 2015 and have sought opportunities to share the sport I love with others ever since. I’m especially focused on outdoor bouldering, but lately have also been enjoying fun local competitions. I’m happy to work with anyone climbing the yellow through pink circuit at BP. Your motivation could be to climb a specific outdoor boulder, prepare for a competition, or move more efficiently on the wall. You get to decide how much you want to challenge yourself, and I’m here for support along the way.

Fun fact: I was born in Turkey!

Austin Garcia

I’ve been climbing for the majority of my life, the challenges climbing has presented me with is what really drew me in. My personal goals revolve around outdoor boulders, however over the years I have competed in many competitions and trained in all disciplines.

Whether you’re a comp climber trying to get prepared for an upcoming competition, an outdoor climber trying to send the proj, or a new climber just wanting to learn about climbing. Im here to be apart of that journey, and help provide any feedback to see you progress.

Fun fact: I’ve climbed for 24hrs straight.

Caroline Brown

I’ve been climbing for over 15 years, starting out on a youth competitive team when I was 12. Over time, I’ve developed a passion for outdoor climbing and now use the gym as both a training ground and a place to share the sport I love with friends and the community.

One of my favorite parts of coaching is watching climbers grow—gaining strength, refining their technique, and building confidence on the wall.If you’re looking to improve your technique, strength, power, or confidence, I’d love to work with you! I’m happy to coach anyone climbing in the yellow to pink circuits.

Fun fact: I have two chihuahuas and love traveling to explore new outdoor climbing areas.
