POPLAR ADULT TEAM

Level Up Your Climbing with Adult Team

Poplar Adult Team is a supportive environment for motivated climbers looking to be challenged and pushed to the next level. Led by experienced technical coaches and driven by a community of climbers who are psyched to challenge each other and see each other reach their goals. Practices include coach led warm-ups, technical drills and workshops, guided projecting, and coach led fitness burnouts. Whether you are training for Boulderfest, to send your outdoor project, or to break through a plateau, Poplar’s Adult Team can help give you the tools and techniques to level up your climbing.

Adult Team is on summer break! Poplar Adult Team will resume in August with practices on Thursday nights at 7PM.

Ash

Hey! I’m Ash (they/them). I’ve been a climber for over 15 years and have been coaching the last several years here in Seattle. I grew up on a youth climbing team in Texas and began competing when I was 11. Nowadays, I work as the assistant head coach for our Youth Climbing Team and Adult Team here at Poplar. It is my passion to help the next generation of climbers reach new heights, master challenging movements, and break through mental blocks on and off the wall.

Julian

Hey there, I’m Julian. I’ve been coaching competitive youth and adults for the last five years. Whether your blockage is technique, route reading, mental orientation, strength or tactics we can work together to get unstuck. If you don’t know whats holding you back, we can chat and climb together to figure it out. I love sharing in the joy of  an “aha”. My door is always open to talk climbing.
