Announcement

Dear Dallas BP Community,

We have some hard news to share: Bouldering Project Dallas’ last day of operations will be Friday, October 24th, 2025.

Since opening in the Design District as Oso Climbing in 2020 — and joining Bouldering Project in 2024 — this gym has been home to an incredible community of climbers, movers, and friends. Together, you’ve created something that went far beyond this building: a space where people felt connected, inspired, and supported.

Unfortunately, despite our efforts, we haven’t been able to achieve the long-term sustainability we hoped for in this market. With that reality, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to close.

Here’s what happens next:

  • Memberships: If you’d like to cancel your monthly recurring membership before October, you’ll need to submit that request online or with our Front Desk team by close of business on September 25th, 2025. Otherwise, you will be billed at 75% of your monthly rate on October 1st, which will continue to allow you full access to our facilities through Friday, October 24, 2025.
  • Day Passes and Punch Passes: Going forward, only day passes will be available for sale. We encourage you to continue to use your gym benefits and if you have that one friend that has said they’ll eventually join you for a climb or a class, bring them in to experience the magic of our spaces in these last few weeks.
  • Prepaid Accounts: Anyone with an outstanding balance on a prepaid punch pass or prepaid membership, will be refunded a prorated amount by November 24th, 2025. As an example, if you have two visits remaining on a 10-visit punch pass, you’ll receive 20% of your original purchase price as a refund. These refunds will be processed as a physical check that will be sent to the address on file for your account. Please confirm that the mailing address we have on file is correct with the Front Desk or online through the self-service portal prior to October 24, 2025.
  • Retail Gift Cards: If you have a retail gift card with an unused balance, please redeem it in the gym before closing on October 25, 2025. After this date, gift cards will continue to be honored at our other Bouldering Project locations.
  • Farewell Events: We want to make sure your final days as a Bouldering Project Dallas member are exceptional. Keep an eye on your email for updates on our farewell event schedule and watch our in-gym signage to learn about some amazing deals on our in-stock retail products.
  • Traveling? Don’t be a stranger. We continue to operate 13 other locations around the country, including our newest location opening later this fall in Saint Paul, Minnesota. We’d love to welcome you to any of our other gyms when you’re in the neighborhood.

Finally, we want to take this opportunity to recognize and thank our amazing Bouldering Project Dallas staff. Our people bring our brand to life every day through each guest and member interaction and we couldn’t be more thankful for our Dallas team. Please join us in sharing your appreciation for them on your next visit.

We are deeply grateful for you.

With gratitude,

Your Bouldering Project Dallas Team
