YOUTH PROGRAMS
A Lifetime of Climbing Starts Here
Kids are natural climbers and watching them discover climbing makes for a special part of the Bouldering Project experience. Our youth programs teach kids skills like resilience, problem-solving, camaraderie, and calculated risk taking—all while tapping in to their love of adventure.
ADVENTURE DAYS
No School? No problem! Adventure days and weeks are geared for youth ages 5-12, and offer plenty of climbing and social time. Whether your child is an experienced climber or brand new to bouldering, they will have a blast with our BP instructors leading the way. Kids will learn basic climbing techniques, and terminology, and play games both on and off the wall.
AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS
Our After School Programs offer plenty of climbing and social time for school age youth! Kids learn basic climbing techniques, terminology, and play games both on and off the wall.
BIRTHDAY PARTIES
Celebrate your child’s next birthday at Bouldering Project with a day full of climbing and fun. Our birthday party staff provides everything from climbing instruction to challenging games located in our private party space. For youth ages 5-12.
PARENTS' NIGHT OUT
Looking for a fun night out? Treat your kids to 3.5 hours of non-stop fun at our place! They’ll enjoy climbing and activities, followed by pizza and a kid-friendly movie. Book an evening where your little climber will be entertained while you reclaim some valuable “me” time. It’s the perfect way to give yourself a break and ensure your kids have a blast! Pizza dinner provided.
YOUTH TEAMS
We have both recreational and competitive youth teams! Our teams help youth to develop as climbers, fostering personal growth through goal setting, developing critical thinking skills, and increasing self confidence through a competitive platform.

- Youth under the age of 14 must be closely accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Our supervision ratio is 2 to 1; up to 2 youth climbers can be supervised by 1 adult chaperone at a time.
- Stay far from the walls and out of fall zones when moving through the gym or waiting to climb. A “fall zone” is anywhere on the mats where a climber could land if they were to fall.
- Make sure to check where a route ends before starting to climb–some routes are close together or even overlap, and you don’t want to end up directly above, below, or next to another climber.
- This is a climbing gym! Please save running, wrestling, horseplay, and gymnastics for other spaces.
Due to programming, the youth room is unavailable on certain days and times each week. When not in use for programming, the Youth Room is open and available for you to enjoy! To stay in the know, give us a call before stopping by!
Have questions about climbing, the facility, or risk? Ask our staff—we are here to help.
