National Competition Skills Camp & Simulation

National Competition Skills Camp
June 11th – June 13th
The National Competition Skills Camp will help athletes feel confident and prepared for the types of scenarios they will see at national level bouldering competitions. Athletes will refine their skill on circuits of complex coordinated movements, intense physical boulders and precise high risk movements. Athletes will gain experience on these types of boulders while learning the principles that are at play in the movement. Additionally, Athletes will work with our incredible coaching staff and other high level athletes to refine their mental process to feel confident heading into national level USAC bouldering competitions. Athletes can sign up for the competition skill camp as a stand alone experience but are encouraged to sign up for the two day simulation (see below) following the 3 day camp.

National Competition Simulation
June 14th – June 15th
The National Competition Simulation is a two day national level mock competition that simulates a USAC semi-finals and finals round. These two days are meant to practice the skills learned in the competition skills camp in two on-sight style rounds set by world-class routesetters. These boulders will be highly complex, physical and coordinated in order to simulate the latest routesetting trends being seen at high-level national competitions. The rounds will be chiefed by USAC lvl 5 routesetter Nic Oklobjiza and the BP crew that includes USAC lvl 4 Mary Creegan and Head Setter at MBP Greg Wulf! Come test your process and then learn the principles of the boulders with these elite coaches and setters!
