Bouldering Project’s Signature Yoga Classes

Written by: Kenzie Bicher

Bend, Don’t break.

Our yoga classes are designed for flexibility, mindfulness, and strength. Gradually moving from low intensity to high intensity, our yoga offerings create a holistic practice for anyone stepping onto their yoga mat.

In every class, no matter the intensity, our seasoned instructors offer progressive and regressive options for each pose and transition, so you’re always meeting the practice on your own terms. Our schedule lets you flow between whichever intensity fits your week or mood.

Not sure which class is right for you? Reference our Yoga Core Classes and Yoga Intensity Scale to see where our classes fall.

Signature Yoga Classes

Our signature classes each landing at a different point on our intensity scale. Take a look at the breakdown below to see which format fits your style. Check your local gym’s schedule to see which classes are offered near you.

RESTORE – low intensity

A person with closed eyes lies on a yoga mat, wearing a light tank top and dark shorts, appearing relaxed in the midst of their signature yoga practice. Their arms are resting by their sides, and they have a small tattoo on their upper arm.

RESTORE is slow on purpose. This practice is grounding and nourishing, designed to quiet the body and the mind. Props like bolsters, blankets, and blocks hold you up so your muscles don’t have to. You’ll settle into a shape and stay long enough for your nervous system to move into a restful, meditative state.

ALIGN – low medium intensity

Three people sit cross-legged on yoga mats indoors, eyes closed, hands pressed together in front of their chests, practicing meditation in a calm, softly-lit room—a tranquil moment from one of the Signature Yoga Classes at Bouldering Project.

ALIGN draws from Hatha yoga, from the Sanskrit “Ha” (solar) and “Tha” (lunar), the balance of opposing energies. Movement here is intentional. You’ll take the time to settle into each shape with clarity and purpose. Foundational poses get built one at a time, with real attention to breath, alignment, and hand placement. It’s a solid entry point for beginners, and a place for experienced practitioners to keep refining their form.

FLOW – medium intensity

A group of people practicing yoga at the Bouldering Project, captured with a motion blur effect as they move into a downward dog pose on yoga mats in a studio that also offers bouldering and yoga classes.

FLOW is a vinyasa-based practice linking breath to movement, building toward a true flow state. Shapes are introduced slowly at first, then link together into a one breath, one movement rhythm, building vigor and intensity along the way. Paired with an invigorating playlist, intentional sequencing builds strength, hones mobility, and fosters full-body coordination throughout. Whatever your experience level, this is where you strengthen the connection between mind and body.

POWER FLOW – medium high intensity

POWER FLOW is a vinyasa-based practice for those looking to find their edge. It takes the principles of ALIGN and FLOW and expands on them, moving at a faster pace. You’ll have space to explore inversions, balance, and shapes that push you toward your edge, strengthening both body and mind.

HOT POWER FLOW – high intensity

Two people, one in focus and one blurred in the background, appear to be stretching or engaging in signature yoga poses in soft light. The person in front, with braided hair and a black shirt, has their eyes closed and an expressive, serene facial expression.

HOT POWER FLOW is a vinyasa-based practice, heated to dial up the intensity. This format challenges body and mind together. Where POWER FLOW seeks your edge, HOT POWER FLOW reaches further. The heat asks more of you, physically and mentally, while you move through challenging shapes and hold postures that build serious heat of their own. It’s where strength, sweat, and focus meet.

Yoga Intensity Scale

Intensity is not the same as skill. Every class adapts to your experience level, no matter where you’re starting from. Intensity is about effort, not ability. It tells you what kind of effort to expect, not what level you need to reach first. RESTORE sits at the low end of our scale. HOT POWER FLOW sits at the high end. Both are built for first-timers and seasoned pros alike.

Yoga intensity scale with a curved gradient bar: Restore at low, Align, Flow (medium), Power Flow, and Hot Power Flow at high—each representing our signature yoga classes at Bouldering Project. Matching color bars and labels are on the right to easily identify every bouldering yoga level.

More than the Signature Classes

Every Bouldering Project has its own personality. Depending on who’s teaching, you will find specialties beyond our core formats on the schedule, things like acro yoga, yoga for climbers, or yoga sculpt. Go see what special classes are being offered at your nearest Bouldering Project
