Class: Shoulder Care 101

Healthy shoulders are important for climbing, lifting and even yoga. Join Natalie, yoga teacher and DPT (doctor of physical therapy) student, and Brian, DPT, for a 60 minute offering. We will talk about common shoulder injuries and then dive in to some movement covering basic mobility to keep your shoulders happy.

Class: Mobility for Climbers

Join Alex Johnson, acclaimed Twin Cities yoga and fitness instructor, for a 60-minute mobility class specifically designed for climbers. You’ll work to create active range of motion for your joints and musculature, learn about muscle activation, and create a fluid and dynamic movement practice.

Class: Core Compression for Inversions

Core compression is generally an underrepresented form of strengthening our abdominal muscles. Have you ever wondered how some people hold themselves upside down in yoga? The answer is core compression! This 60 minute class will teach you how to compress your midsection, make inversions feel accessible, and give your abs a solid burn!

Time: 2:30pm

Location: Yoga Studio

Pilates was originally called Contrology and it does just that. We will work pelvic stability and awareness, coordination, proprioception to work the mind-body connection, and discover a deep strength by integrating breath to movement.

Class: Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a slower-paced, more meditative version of the popular physical and spiritual discipline of yoga. In Yin yoga, the poses are held for a long period of time (typically three to five minutes or longer) to target the connective tissues (such as the ligaments) rather than focusing on the muscles.
